Denny's Breakfast House

Now this review is based off going to several Denny's that even pass state borders. But as is the case with all reviews in relation to Corperations, there are exceptions to the rule. This particular review is primarily based off visiting the Watson Lindbergh Denny's. But also a couple other locations.

1. Now, the coffee they produce is of a fair quality. Nothing to rave about, but it doesnt need to be drowned in suger or creamer to kill that burnt coffee taste either. Alas, they are fairly bad at refilling it. If your there for an 3 hour span, you'll probably get 3-4 refills by the end of the meal. So they gain a 1/2 point
2. Their Hashbrowns are crisp and thin, as they rightly should be! The Denny's staff do not hold back with their hashbrowns whatsover!
3. Pancakes....mediorce. Ill order them and eat them, but compared to a hot plate of pancakes from the buttery or perhaps other locations i have yet to review (you'll see ;)) they dont come up to par. But their not bad pancakes. 1/2 point!
4. Eggs, well, their hot and fluffy and taste rather scrumptious. They are sometimes a little cool when served, but as a whole, admirable work with the chickens!
5. Burgers/Fries, now this is where Denny's go beyond the call of duty. They make a mean burger! I mean its good stuff! Big, juicy, a little red and tender, dag nabbit! Its those burgers that give me hope for the corperation at all! And the fries aint half bad either!
6. Atmosphere: For a corperation, they do a good job. Usually big buisnesses cant produce that old school breakfast diner feel. But They have..pleasently suprised me
7. Service: alas, in general, nearly all the denny's iv gone to the servers, while not rude, they carry this aura and feel of sadness and neglect. And not your typical "im a 40 year old women workin this diner with a smoked out throat and bored with the job, but love the place to much to leave" neglect. Also, while the service is genuinly kind and good-hearted. They lack the effieceny iv come accustomed to on my journey through the breakfast world. And work ethic seems to be on a do what ya gotta do basis! I cant give the Denny's corperation in the St.Louis metropolitan area, any points
8. Breakfast meats: Quality: nice! Quantity for price...mmeeaaahh.
9. Overall Price, kinda pricy to be honest. A standerd milk shake for example is a little over 3 dollars!? And the portion, while not small, it is not large by any means! you get a good deal on the burger and fries (only a limited time offer though)
10. Hours get full points though! It can be 3 in the morning, and jimminy christmas! I may just be craving some Denny's! So i can go if i want...kudo's to Denny's on that mark!

SOOOO! All in all, Denny's gets an 6 1/2 out of 10 on "The Scale"! which seems to be slightly below average according to the scales usual ratings..still, if ones there, and your hungry. Go for it! It isnt dismal, just there may be other locations more preferable :)
